Koh pee pee Thai House

KOH PEE PEE, ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLANDS FROM THAILAND, LOCATED IN THE INDIAN OCEAN, INSPIRED THE NAME OF THE RESTAURANT FOUNDED IN 1989.

Designed in the Thai style, the restaurant has capacity to seat 120 people in an environment with decorative and cultural elements from Thailand, such as crockery, cutlery, paintings and uniforms, creating an authentic Thai home. The exotic flavors and parfumed aromas of the meals were gathered in a restaurant that also exhales the mild oriental culture. One of the peculiarities are the kitchens in sight of the clients. It is a reference of the Thai habit of preparing food on the streets of Bangkok.

The menu is a faithful sample of Thailand's most popular dishes, and offers more than 40 varieties: starters, salads, soups and main dishes, based on seafood, fish, poultry, meat and vegetables. The dessert is another highlight of the menu, turning into an experience of flavor and charm. The main characteristic of the Thai cuisine, however, is the harmonious fusion of condiments, spices, aromatic herbs and fresh ingredients, which emphasize both the sweet taste and the spicy taste. Seasonings and ingredients are imported from Thailand to ensure the authenticity of the Thai culinary. The restaurant also has a wine and champagne list with more than 150 labels from 14 countries.

The Koh Pee Pee restaurant is recognized for the quality and authenticity of its cuisine and has received numerous awards and certificates of excellence, such as “The Pride of Thailand from the National Food Institute, Thailand's leading food industry. This certificate recognizes Koh Pee Pee as a real representative of the authentic Thai cuisine. In addition, it also has the Thai Select label, designed by the government of Thailand, as well as consecutives "Best Restaurant" award in the Quatro Rodas Guide and "Best Restaurant in Porto Alegre and Best Oriental" both by Veja Comer e Beber Guide and "Best Restaurant in Customer's Preference" in the Marcas de Quem Decide award from Jornal do Comércio.
